Your Coach: Katharine Jeffcoat, RDN, LD
I'm a Registered Dietitian with over 26 years of experience in pediatric nutrition and eight years in private practice. Before starting my private practice, I worked as a clinical pediatric dietitian and was part of the feeding clinic team and eating disorder day hospital. I left the hospital and spent nine years in the pediatric allergy and prevention industry with Nutricia and Nestle.
With the Intention to return to my passion for working with families and direct patient care, I opened my private practice, NW Pediatric & Family Nutrition, in the fall of 2015 with an office in Portland, Oregon. I soon expanded by opening a second office in Vancouver, Washington in 2017. In 2020 I started my group practice by adding two team members in anticipation of moving to Bend, Oregon, and keeping the Portland and Vancouver office open. Once Covid hit, we all were working virtually and soon became busier than ever. I brought on two additional team members at the end of 2021, and we are currently a group of 6 dietitians ( and still growing)who work virtually and in our Portland Office and soon-to-be Bend office.
I now live in Bend, Oregon, working with my clients virtually and managing my team, and loving the business I've grown. I love mentoring the new dietitians on my team, which has led me to follow my passion by opening my doors as a coach to other dietitians in private practice. In the past eight years, I have worked with many coaches that have helped me move my business forward by prioritizing and helping me focus, and I truly believe a lot of my success is from the support of a coach along the way.
I'm a mom of two girls, who are 9 and 14, and I appreciate the work-life balance that group ownership and private practice have given me. I've learned to work smarter and not harder over the years and am ready to support others to do the same.
