Your Coach: Katharine Jeffcoat, RDN, LD

I'm a Registered Dietitian with over 26 years of experience in pediatric nutrition and eight years in private practice. I worked for eight years at Emanuel Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon, as a clinical and outpatient pediatric dietitian, part of the feeding clinic team, and eating disorder day hospital. I spent nine years in the pediatric allergy and prevention industry with Nutricia and Nestle. Intending to return to my passion for working with families and pediatric nutrition, I opened my private practice, NW Pediatric & Family Nutrition, in the fall of 2015 and opened offices in Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington. In 2020 I started my group practice by adding two team members in anticipation of moving to Bend, Oregon. Once Covid hit, we all were working virtually and busier than ever. I brought on two additional team members at the end of 2021, and we are currently a group of 5 dietitians (with a goal to keep growing)who work virtually and in our Portland Office.

I now live in Bend, Oregon, working with my clients virtually and managing my team, and loving the business I've grown. I love mentoring the new dietitians on my team and want to follow my passion for coaching others and open my doors to support other dietitians starting in private practice or considering group practice. I'm a mom of two girls, who are 9 and 14, and I appreciate the work-life balance that group ownership and private practice have given me. I've learned to work smarter and not harder over the years and am ready to support others to do the same.
